This small yet highly engineered component is fundamental to ensuring system stability, longevity, and performance.

An idler tension bearing pulley is a free-spinning pulley designed to guide and maintain the correct tension in the engine’s drive belt system. Unlike driven pulleys, it does not transmit power. Instead, it serves two core purposes:

• Maintains optimal belt tension
• Guides belt routing across multiple components

There are typically two configurations:

• Idler Pulley – Fixed position, used to route the belt
